Bonnie and Mark are founder members of successful Folk-rock band Touchstone and they make a welcome return to Uckfield Festival in 2020.
As part of Touchstone, Bonnie and Mark are the main songwriters for the band and have penned many songs and ballads about Sussex events including their popular song ‘The Night the Snow Came Down’ about the 1836 Lewes snow avalanche.
Touchstone have appeared at numerous folk festivals in the UK and supported iconic artists like Fairport Convention, Show of Hands, Albion Band, Little Johnny England and many others.
In 1995 Bonnie and Mark won the prestigious best new artist award at the National Folk Festival as a duo.
Bonnie and Mark will perform a lively and varied set of both their popular original songs and classics accompanied by band member, Rowena MacArthur, on flute.
A new CD from the full band will be available this summer.
