Festival Club – Bonnie Flitney and Mark Orchin @ Luxford Lounge
Jul 13 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Bonnie Flitney and Mark Orchin have been members of Sussex Folk Rock band Touchstone since 1990 . They draw their musical influences from many styles and genres of music but primarily folk music.

Mark & Bonnie have been the main songwriters for Touchstone throughout their career and their original compositions have a unique twist as most songs are based around Sussex historical events, e.g. the Lewes snow avalanche, shipwrecks and so on. In 1995 the pair entered the best new artist competition at the National Folk Festival and beat all other entrants to win the contest going on to play many UK festivals both as a duo and with Touchstone. Expect a feast of Sussex flavoured songs and tunes along with many popular items in their set.
